EMusic

It has been a very long time since I have had any post on this blog, because I have been doing some serious blogging at other place. Anyways, these days, after listening to Kabir by Abida Parveen, I became fan of her voice and was searching for more of her songs when I saw there are so many songs hosted on www.EMusic.com, of corse there was a trial membership where we can download first 50 songs for free, guess what I enrolled in that and I downloaded some of her albums incldg., Baba Bulleh Shah Abida, Best Of Abida Parveen, Raqs-e-Bismil, some Anup Jalota songs, but I still had some free credit to download. Then I casually looked for Alaap, I didnt expect to return some results but indeed it returned me all the songs from the movie. Great!!! I couldnt even find those songs to listen on any of the popular website, so I bought a DVD of the movie, but I got the songs. I loved the moment. Hail the revolution of internet. I am going to back them up on my external hard drive. WORLD!!! does anybody need Alaap Songs.

I think this is the only movie where Yesudas sings forAmitabh. The music is simply beautiful by Jaidev. Koi gata, main so jata - is my fave.
